| Qantas operates across a worldwide network spanning 142 destinations in 32 countries. Qantas is known for their excellence in safety, operational reliability, engineering, maintenance, and customer service. Since 2004, Naverus has worked closely with Qantas to optimize terminal operations using RNP. Projects to date include nine Australian and New Zealand airpports. In additional to terminal procedures, Qantas and Naverus have explored the concept of using RNP navigation for decompression contingency plans. This would allow long-range flights to operate more direct routings over mountainous terrain. In the fastest to revenue operations category, Naverus provided Qantas with an RNP approach to Sydney's runway 16R in only 22 days when an ILS outage threatened operations there. | |
