| Naverus and Airservices Australia are cooperating on a Trial of RNP at Brisbane Airport. In this trial Airservices is using RNP to help manage traffic at this third busiest terminal area in Australia (800 aircraft movements per day) while at the same time reducing aircraft emissions and noise. Airservices utilizes Tailored RNP procedures that were designed to accommodate the Airbus and Boeing single-aisle airliners serving the airport. These procedures offer shorter paths with built-in continuous descents providing marked improvements over the RNAV arrivials that have been used there.
