We are a rapidly growing private company that offers a very professional workplace with an entrepreneurial spirit. We are seeking a CADD Technician to work in our Kent headquarters. The position will be responsible for CADD production of Naverus’ procedure plates, descriptive graphics, and other mapping and design-support functions. Responsibilities include: - Using CADD to prepare, edit, and produce high quality instrument Procedure Plates
- Managing multiple project deadlines and priorities
- Maintaining standards and efficient processes for producing instrument Procedure Plates
- Preparing and producing assorted plans and maps for design development
- Converting raw mapping sources and/or scans into graphically useful forms:
~ Plate graphics ~ Obstacle survey plans ~ Airspace plans ~ Concept and Preliminary Design graphics ~ Large-scale presentation graphics. - Producing Marketing/Sales graphics
- Developing thorough knowledge of applicable requirements, standards and processes for producing instrument Procedure Plates
- Prepare drawing sets and incorporate markups under the direction of design engineers and project managers.
- Provide graphic support to all project team members during all phases from project concept to project close-out
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail-oriented person with good problem solving skills, who works well independently and in teams, and who can produce high-quality map-related graphics.
- Excellent CAD graphics skills
Minimum of three years specific experience with AutoCAD; other platforms a plus Associate degree preferred, however training certification may be substituted Working knowledge of coordinate systems, large-scale topographic mapping/aerial photography Working knowledge of 3-d modeling (DTMs/DEMs), LDT, AutoCAD Map, GIS a plus -
