We are a rapidly growing small, private company that offers a very professional workplace with an entrepreneurial spirit. We are seeking a Production Technical Pilot to work in our Kent headquarters. The Production Technical Pilot is responsible for flight operational input into procedure design, evaluation and testing. This position will report to the Director, Trajectory Engineering.
The ideal candidate is a fully qualified and experienced technical pilot with excellent communication skills. The Product Technical Pilot will have flight experience in transport category and high-performance jet/turboprop aircraft. Experience with CNS/ATM, RNP, and TERPS development and certification is highly desired.
Responsibilities include: - Acting as Project Pilot responsible for providing Flight Operations requirements for internal databases and pre-sales proposals, including conducting preliminary field surveys of potential sites and determining efficiency and lift estimates
- Working closely with Trajectory Engineering to provide technical flight operational support and input for design work, evaluation and testing of procedures, and procedure plate construction/review
- Working closely with AeroData Support Specialists to provide FMS database coding support and quality checks
- Operating the desktop flight simulator to test designed procedures for basic flyability, GP altitude definition and charted course/distance
- Supporting the Operations department with development and maintenance of charting standards documentation
- Providing technical product support for existing customers and assisting with new product integration activities.
Qualifications: - 3-5 years commercial airline flight experience
- Engineering or Aviation Degree required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Excellent written and verbal skills required
