Tailored RNP can include: arrivals, approaches, missed approaches, non-normal missed approaches, departures and non-normal departures.
Naverus Tailored RNP arrivals, approaches and missed approaches can be designed using ICAO RNP AR, FAA 8260.52 or other published regulatory criteria as a foundation with enhancements to address customization requirements for unique airports, operators or aircraft.
Unlike Public RNP, fuel savings and/or other benefits can be the primary design drivers of Tailored RNP procedures. This allows operators to utilize the performance capabilities of their aircraft and not be penalized by following the sometimes longer flight paths designed for a broad audience. These procedures can get the most from modern jet aircraft by building in shorter paths, tighter turn gradients and idle thrust descents.
Finally, Naverus offers Tailored RNP procedures that require more extensive customization and include departures and non-normal provisions. These procedures are often called for at the most challenging airports where aircraft performance must be taken into consideration and a key ingredient in design.
